As a Front End Developer, you’ll help develop new features, functionality and fix bugs for seasaltcornwall.com on the Magento 2 platform whilst working to improve the efficiency of our internal web development and testing processes.
With a desire to stay up to date and learn the latest trends and techniques, you’ll proactively identify and suggest areas for improvement in areas such as design, UX, performance, SEO and accessibility.
Please note this role is based remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.
You’ll help us by;
The skills you’ll be sharing with the team;
You will bring your previous experience creating and overriding Magento 2 modules using best practices whilst demonstrating the ability to take responsibility for a project or task from start to finish, and have experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
You’ll be proficient in HTML5, CSS (LESS) and JavaScript and have good experience working with PHP, GIT, KnockoutJS and GraphQL/REST API’s.
You’ll also have a solid understanding of the Magento 2 layout engine and storefront development principles.
A great team player, you’ll work closely with the wider business and external partners and have experience working with mixed frontends with legacy and modern areas.
