At Seasalt we live and breathe our product and are proud of the exceptional quality and level of care we take in design and sourcing, to deliver beautiful garments which are loved by our customers. Based on the Cornish coast, we're a multi-channel lifestyle brand with over 70 shops across the UK & Ireland, over 400 wholesale stockists and a growing online business.
As a Merchandising Systems Analyst you’ll be an Excel guru, responsible for carrying out a programme of upgrades to existing Microsoft Excel-based Merchandising tools, including Allocation & Replenishment, Purchase Order Management and Range/Assortment Planning.
You’ll create new Excel-based tools to provide new functionality within Merchandising, and support with the implementation of new data sources, amending tools to draw on data from a new Data Platform, severing links to legacy data warehouse sources.
Please note this is a 6 month temporary contract, which is based remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.
You’ll help us by:
To support our future growth plans, you’ll update and enhance our Excel-based tools to provide future proof functionality, include VBA code, PowerPivot Data Models, and links to Microsoft Access Databases (including some use of SQL code). Working autonomously and alongside the Head of Commercial Operations, you will make these changes, test, deploy and document the tools.
You’ll migrate existing tools to a new data source for our Merchandising team, which includes access to sales, stock and additional data from a number of sources (primarily our Data Warehouse) supported with a collection of source files and databases.
Working from a brief from the Head of Commercial Operations, you’ll build new Excel tools and reports, importing external data and, where appropriate, automating elements of their use using VBA to provide a great end-user experience for these tools. In addition to this, you’ll test, deploy and document any new tools.
