Seasalt’s design ethos is to create beautiful and useful clothing that our customers can wear season after season, inspired by our Cornish coastal and creative heritage. Our unique prints produced in-house are updated each month and play a key role in each collection. Joining us as a Design Administration Assistant is the ideal opportunity to kick start your print design career, whilst enjoying life by the sea.
Supporting our Print team, the Design Administration Assistant will provide essential administrative support in all key processes throughout the Design Cycle, supporting the Designers to achieve creative profitable products that excite our customers and reinforce our brand values.
We work at a fast pace so you will adhere to the Product Calendar and Critical Path whilst working closely with Design and Buying teams to ensure key deadlines are achieved on time. You will also manage the incoming submissions from suppliers, maintaining an organised and tidy filing area and ensuring correct approvals are available when required.
Another key element of the role is ensuring product information within our system (PLM) is accurately updated and monitored at all critical stages, acting as a link between the Design team and other departments to enable them to complete tasks on time.

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team;
First and foremost you will be an enthusiastic and capable administrator with a textiles or design degree, ideally print related, who enjoys working in a busy team environment. With basic Adobe Suite skills, you will have a love for product, colour and a keen interest to develop a career in design.
Good organisation, attention to detail and time management is essential, as is the ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be willing to go the extra mile.
If you are proactive, enthusiastic and efficient, this is the ideal opportunity to gain exposure within an in-house design team and understand how a growing retail business operates.
